Hull Performing Arts welcomes both experienced and inexperienced actors. We are committed to diversity and inclusivity. SYNOPSIS: 
Four couples, three bedrooms, a dinner party, an anniversary, a housewarming party, and a fight. The play takes place in three bedrooms. Malcolm and Kate, invite two couples, to a housewarming party. At the last minute Nick hurts his back, so his wife, Jan, has to go alone. Unfortunately, one member of the other invited couple is her ex-boyfriend, Trevor who is now married to Susannah. The evening leads to a night of hilarious dysfunction and misunderstandings!

  • ERNEST – (50s/70s, married to Delia, Trevor’s Father)
  • DELIA – (50s/70s, married to Ernest, Trevor’s Mother)
  • NICK – (30s/40s, in bed with bad back, married to Jan) 
  • JAN – (30s/40s, married to Nick, dated Trevor) 
  • MALCOLM – (20s/30s, married to Kate) 
  • KATE – (20s/30s, married to Malcolm) 
  • TREVOR – (30s/40s, married to Susannah, spoiled, dated Jan)
  • SUSANNAH – (30s/40s, married to Trevor) 
 
First rehearsal is Sunday, April 21st at 4 pm at the Weir River Estuary Center. Rehearsals are tentatively scheduled for Sunday, Monday and Wednesday (or Thursday) evenings, but will ultimately be based on cast availability. Not all cast members will be called to every rehearsal. Mandatory tech week begins June 1st.
 
Performances are June 7, 8, 14, 15 at 7:30 PM and June 16 at 2:00 PM at the Weir River Estuary Center.
