Children by A.R. Gurney
A “WASP” family gathers in their summer home off the New England coast when the matriarch, a widow, announces that she plans to marry an old family friend. Her youngest son objects to the marriage and any plans his siblings have for the house. Years of repressed memories come to the surface (some funny) leading to family friction and examination of each person’s empty life.
