              About Us

Hull Performing Arts (HPA) enhances the cultural life of this community and promotes the performing arts by providing local theater productions and related activities.

Each year the HPA season offers a variety of high quality performances including drama, comedy, and musicals to the Town of Hull and the South Shore.

All members of the community are encouraged to experience the joy of theater by auditioning, performing, helping backstage and/or attending the variety of shows that HPA offers.

Because HPA is a charitable, nonprofit corporation, its administration is completely made up of volunteers. Exploring the ins and outs of running a nonprofit theater is as much a learning experience as performing.

HPA is organizing workshop theater classes in sets, costumes and lighting to include those individuals who prefer to be creative behind the scenes.

HPA has been involved with more than theater from the very beginning -- from painting the local bathhouse to performing Dr. Seuss's "The Sneeches" for local first grade classes. For a list of some of our community projects, please ask us for our Membership Information brochure.
